Our hosts

Julie Baumlisberger

Land Owner • MC • Facilitator •

Marketing Team • Logistics Team

Barefoot and free-spirited lover of life, teacher, gardener and guide. Always exploring the edge of mental and physical resilience.

Together with my husband Ralph, I love creating and supporting community, through various events and workshops, including breath work, drumming, cold plunging and good old fashioned pot luck dinners.

Ralph Baumlisberger

Land Owner • Facilitator

Lifelong farmer and practical environmentalist, with wannabe spiritual connections.

I appreciate the skills of our EarthBeat community and I think networking is the way forward.  Having fun and learning new skills with like minded people sounds like a win/win for me!

Our Land : Cedar Woods on Station

223227 Station St, Amaranth, ON

For over 40 years, Julie and Ralph have cultivated and called this land “home”.

They built their house, planted trees and created gardens, grew organic food, raised their family and now are building community here.

Any changes to the landscape have been shaped in flowing harmony with Nature, instead of working against it. Preserving the environment for the abundance of diverse native and cultured plants, that are home to the many species of birds and critters that live here.

The beautiful gardens, cedar forest with ample trails and resting spots are enjoyed not only by the Baumlisberger family, but by friends and guests who are invited to visit.

Brent Rowan

Volunteer Team – Sound Maker – Space Holder

Professional musician • Community Builder

Helping the world listen with music and improvisation.

For me, EarthBeat is a way to connect and share knowledge about the best practices for achieving a fulfilling soul journey through our human bodies. With so many toxic influences in all aspects of our environments, understanding how to best nourish our mind, body, and spirit through a connection to the earth is fundamental to our journey.

Musician/Artist/Writer • Nature Lover • Grandpa

‘‘It’s so hard these days to see through all the smoke and mirrors, which is why it’s more important than ever to nurture communities based on love, understanding and freedom. EarthBeat will provide us with a great opportunity for like-minded, like-hearted souls to come together.”

In 2004 I released a book which changed my life, called ‘Why Is Life?’ – see the link below. There’s a link there for my paintings and a Spotify link for 3 decades worth of my recorded music.

and Sound Tech.

There are moments when time, space, and people intersect in ways that when you look back you say to yourself, “Wow, being there nourished my soul.”
To me, EarthBeat is one of those space-time assemblages; it offers a welcoming ensemble of collaborative light-workers and sound magicians who are committed to building a community that I am very excited to be part of.
Connect with Fyl on social media to find out about his upcoming live performances with the plethora of bands he plays with.

Gary Diggins

MC • Facilitator • Space Holder • Sound Maker

Visionary • Wordsmith • Soundworker

I love sound, word, and silence. I deliver soul food through soundwork. I brew books, blogs, and blessings. I walk silently through forest paths ensouled by the hush.

I envision EarthBeat as a space to create wellness, kindness, and connectedness.

Tom Wolf

Activities Team • Sound Maker • Facilitator

Exploring creativity can be done by oneself or in a group setting. Tom enjoys life most doing either. Making music or crafting things from wood, iron or concrete are all in his wheelhouse.

EarthBeat offers an opportunity to explore some of these in a community setting. Anticipating a weekend filled with music, drumming, dancing, learning and growing. EarthBeat, here we come!

The Bhadra Collective

Wellness Strategist

The Bhadra Collective is composed of seasoned musicians who explore contrasts: electric and eclectic, world music with a danceable energy, familiar songs re-imagined, plus contemporary music that borrows from tradition. The word ‘Bhadra’ is a Sanskrit adjective meaning ‘blessed, fortunate, prosperous, happy and loving.’ The Collective strives to project these qualities in their lyrical content, infectious rhythms, and playful performances. They are dedicated to engaging an audience in interactive exchanges – everything from call- response sing-alongs to moving to the beat. Their sound has been described as quirky and catchy. The Bhadra Collective draws upon their love of music-making as a community experience. Be prepared to become part of the band.
